SILHOUETTE

I color corrected the image, then i lassoed the flag and then put it onto a new layer. Then I changed the image to grayscale and made the blacks darker and the whites lighter (leaving in some gray so the sun was still visible). I then merged the flag layer with the main layer and came out with THIS.

Color corrected the image. Changed to grayscale. Fixed blacks and white (darken and lighten). Cropped out extra stuff to make it more simple and draw attention to the heart.

Is Photography Class a waste of time or an amazing opportunity? What can you learn from images that you can't learn from words? One word: ALOT.
